Every price is plus GST. A standard call-out covers the first hour on site, and there's one vehicle charge per job unless we've agreed otherwise.
Weekend and after-hours work attracts a call-out fee. Statutory holidays cost more because we're legally required to give our tradespeople a day in lieu.

What plumbing services do you provide?
Residential and commercial plumbing, including urgent repairs, new installations and routine maintenance. At home that covers leaks, pipe repairs and fixture installs; for businesses it covers system upgrades, preventative maintenance and fast repairs. We also do drainage and septic work, gas fitting, solar water heating, roofing and spouting, fire installations and full renovations.
How do I get a quote?
Call us on 027 470 8187, email jobs@candgplumbing.co.nz, or fill in the form on our contact page with the details of the job. We will come back to you with a clear, no-obligation quote. If we need to visit the site to price it, there is a one-off $150 + GST charge.
Are your plumbers licensed and insured?
Yes. All of our plumbers and gas fitters are fully licensed and insured, and we keep up with ongoing training so our work stays safe, reliable and compliant with local regulations.
What areas do you service?
Gisborne city and the wider Gisborne District. If you are further out, give us a call to check. Travel outside the Gisborne city zone is charged at $1.55 + GST per km plus the hourly rate.
How do I book an appointment?

What should I do in a plumbing emergency?
For a major leak, burst pipe or serious blockage, turn off the water at the toby if you can and call us straight away on 027 470 8187 so we can get a plumber to you. Outside business hours, leave a detailed message with your number and what has happened, and we will prioritise it. Weekend call-outs attract a call-out fee.
